redfish, cobia, pompano,
kingfish, triple tail, mackerel
and fresh water trout from the
Peace and Mykka Rivers. All of
the four pristine Manasota Key
Beaches offer fishing and a few
even have boat ramps available
should you want to put your own
boat or rental boat in.
The best spot for tarpon fishing
is found near Pine Island at the
Boca Grande Sound. The sound’s
waters are deemed the best
Tarpon Fishing in the World and
a place where some gigantic fish

usually a large amount of boats
at any given time in the pass
