• The Palms is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course with five spectacular finishing holes, generous fairways, six water hazards, large ponds and multi-tiered greens. Two of the most challenging holes in southwest Florida are the 15th & 16th holes of this course.
   
• The Hills is another Rotonda 18-hole par 72 championship course in Oakland Hills community. The Hills features smart water hazards, beautiful rolling greens and is narrow off the tee with lateral hazards lining the fairways.
   
• The Links is the only course in Cape Haze Florida and the closest course to Palm Island Vacation Rentals. Cross over to the mainland from Palm Island and you’re less than a mile from the Cape Haze Links course. The Links is an 18-hole, par 63 executive length golf course with wide open fairways, 9 par three holes and 9 par four holes. The distinguishing feature of this course is the 35 acres of water throughout 80 acres of golf course.
   
• Long Marsh is a Ted McAnlis-designed course comprised of 450 acres and 27 holes. Each hole of this par-71 Rotonda West course features distinctive natural bunkers, lakes and marshes.

Lemon Bay Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole, par 71 golf course situated directly across the northern section of Palm Island, only six miles north of Gasparilla Island Bridge. The western edge of the 90-acre course overlooks the mangrove forests of Palm Island and Don Pedro Island State Park. Lemon Bay Golf Course faces the Gulf of Mexico and offers golfers an environment filled with native pines, small lakes and ponds and wildlife. Exotic tropical birds, blue herons, great white egrets, kingfisher, owls, roseate spoonbills, glossy ibis, woodpeckers, American eagles, other endangered shorebirds and birds of prey are protected within the Lemon Bay course as it is a Fully Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Lemon Bay is a private course and the most popular golf club in the area but is open to limited reciprocal play from May 3rd through August 31. Tee times can be made by the public up to seven days in advance.

Oyster Creek Golf & Country Club is a difficult, 18-hole executive length golf course in Englewood Florida. Featuring six par 4 holes with water hazards on 14 holes, Oyster Creek was designed by Ted McAnlis with 3 sets of teeboxes, a driving range and 3,976 yards of golf, from the longest tees, for a par of 60. Oyster Creek is a public course. Tee times can be made online and green fees range from $15 to $35.

For a quick day or night golfing experience, head over to Duffy’s Golf Center in Port Charlotte Florida. Duffy’s Golf Center is less than 10 miles from Cape Haze FL. The 18-hole Duffy’s course is a public course featuring 3,641 yards of golf, from the longest tees, for a par of 59. All 18 holes of Duffy’s course are lighted and the center features a practice range, golf shop and club repair station.

Myakka Pines Golf Club is one of the finest and most affordable golf clubs in southwest Florida. This semi-private member-owned club is located north east of Palm Island Vacation Rentals, a few miles east of Manasota Key FL. Myakka Pines Golf Club has 27 holes divided into three courses. The red, white and blue courses feature gorgeous lakes and like Lemon Bay, Myakka Pines is a Audubon Society bird sanctuary.
